Caypho provides valuable insights into the entire candidate engagement journey, crucial for firms seeking to optimise their early recruitment strategies
Overview
Caypho provides valuable insights into the entire candidate engagement journey, crucial for firms seeking to optimise their early recruitment strategies. A prime example of its effectiveness can be observed through its implementation by a leading £200 million enterprise and Caypho client.
In the words of Caypho:
"The first step to solving a problem is understanding it exists. With Caypho, you'll always be in the know."
The Challenge
The enterprise faced a common challenge in recruitment: understanding and tracking the effectiveness of their recruitment strategies across diverse candidate pools. Traditional methods made it difficult to identify disparities in engagement, particularly among candidates who interacted with the brand but did not progress to the application phase.
The Solution
Caypho was implemented to track every interaction, evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and understand success rates among key demographics. Its particular strength lies in identifying potential candidates who engage but do not apply, a key segment often overlooked in traditional analysis.
The Result
One of the key findings that Caypho unearthed was a significant disparity in event attendance between overall candidates and those of Black/Black British heritage. While the average event attendance stood at 42%, it dropped to just 29% for candidates of Black/Black British background, which helped identify a key dropping-off point for that demographic.
This insight, previously hidden without Caypho, now allows the enterprise to tailor its recruitment strategies to better engage this demographic, potentially increasing both attendance rates and subsequent applications. Caypho thus revealed a crucial blind spot in the company's recruitment efforts, providing them with a roadmap to improve outreach and recruitment outcomes.
